Welcome!
Welcome to my webpage. My lesson is about the Progressive Era, but more targeted toward child labor and the working conditions. Please note that this unit would cover more information than what my five lessons cover. Other lesson topics would include women's suffrage, the need for organized labor and the temperance movement. The whole unit is targeted towards 6th grade.
Overall Essential Questions:
- Why does child labor exist and what are the pros/cons of it?
- What effects did the Progressive Era have on child labor and working conditions?
